Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform tests accurately in line with standard methods. The role requires shift work and the ability to represent the lab at third party and refinery sites.

You will maintain lab cleanliness, standardize reagents, mentor new analysts, and undertake on-site analyses or field assignments. Basic salary ranges from SGD 2,100 to SGD 2,800 monthly, with transport and shift allowances available.

Qualifications

• NITEC/ Diploma in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Willing to perform shift work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tests accurately according to standard methods.
• Represent the Laboratory as witness at third party and refinery laboratory.
• Standardize reagents/equipment, prepare titration solvent and test solutions when necessary.
• Upkeep the cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment in the laboratory.
• Maintain and upkeep good housekeeping.
• To check, review and follow lab protocol if dubious results are encountered.
• Must be able to work shift and overtime when required.
• Perform any tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform analysis at site laboratories or at field assignments.
• Mentoring newly joined/promoted Laboratory Analyst
• Assist in the practical training of new Analyst where assigned.
• Applies judgment and acts according to the company standards of ethics and integrity
