Job summary

Henkel in Singapore seeks a Laboratory Application Specialist to support customers through lab testing, investigations, and product performance analysis. You will collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development to deliver technical insights and resolve product challenges.

The role combines hands-on lab work, root-cause analysis, and technical reporting while ensuring quality and safety standards. A hybrid work model is available with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, materials science, or related engineering/technical discipline preferred.
• Experience in laboratory testing and root cause analysis is desirable.
• Familiarity with material property tests and failure analysis methods is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supports internal and external technical requests by performing lab testing and investigations.
• Writes customer-facing reports for various teams and stakeholders.
• Maintains laboratory equipment and ensures calibration and safety compliance.
• Maintains lab records, inventories, SDS, and safety documentation.
• Assists in day-to-day lab operations and administration.
