Job summary

Manfield Employment Services Pte Ltd is recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst on behalf of a global leading testing company in Singapore. The role involves performing accurate tests, following established procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized lab environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Fresh Nitec or Diploma in engineering, chemical or science with a positive, hardworking, team-centered attitude. Training is provided, and prior lab experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fresh Nitec or Diploma in engineering, chemical or science; training provided.
• Laboratory experience is a plus (freshers welcome).
• Positive attitude, team player and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate and timely tests and reporting as required by customers.
• Familiarize with test methods and laboratory procedures.
• Support and help maintain laboratory operations to meet turnaround times.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean before, during and after handling.
• Perform basic calibration and quality checks on equipment.
• Record and endorse test results on worksheets upon completion.
• Ensure tests are completed with integrity and standards.
• Follow standard methods and execute tests as per worksheets.
• Prepare reagents, titration solvents and test solutions when necessary.
• Assist in practical training of new technicians when assigned.

Laboratory Analyst

Ourclient is a global leading testing company. They arecurrently seeking for Laboratory Analyst to deliver testing services requiredby their customers.

The role of the Laboratory Analyst includes:

• Carry out accurate and timely tests and reporting as required by the customers
• Familiarization with all test methods & laboratory procedures
• Support and maintain the laboratory operations. Coordinate activities of the section to meet the turn-around time
• Upkeep cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment before, during and after handing over from fellow Team Leaders
• Perform standard quality checks and basic calibration of equipment
• To record and endorse test results on Worksheets when tests are completed
• Ensure that tests are completed accurately without compromising integrity and standards
• Carry out tests in accordance to the standard methods as given in the worksheet
• Standardize reagent/equipment, prepare titration solvent and test solutions when necessary
• Upkeep cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment
• Assist in the practical training of new technicians when assigned
• Maintain good housekeeping by cleaning up after each test
• To review, question and repeat results if suspicious results are encountered
• To be updated and develop competency on new scope of tests and instruments
• Perform any tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirement:

• Fresh Nitec, Diploma in any engineering, chemical, science studies are welcome (Training will be provided)
• Working experience in a laboratory will be added advantages
• Positive working attitude, team player and hardworking
• Applies judgment and acts according to the company standards of ethics and integrity
