Job summary

PSB Academy Pte Ltd is seeking a lab support professional to manage laboratory duties, inventory, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. The role involves preparing equipment for classes, supporting instructors, and ensuring a safe, organized lab environment.

You will assist in procurement, keep records, provide software support to students, and help maintain software licenses. A good team player, you should be comfortable with shift rotations and ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering discipline (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics) with at least 1 year of experience.
• Familiar and able to operate laboratory equipment, software & perform troubleshooting if required.
• In-depth domain knowledge which includes the understanding of lab objectives, applied principles and lab safety requirements.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety requirements.
• Able and willing to share knowledge with others.
• A good team player.
• Willing to work on rotational shift duties.

Responsibilities

• Understand experiment requirements and objectives.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, apparatus, hardware, software for lab classes.
• Housekeep the laboratory after each session.
• Support Lecturers for laboratory sessions/workshops.
• Arrange lab familiarization sessions for new lecturers.
