Job summary

SUPERFORM CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Tampines is seeking a Lab Engineer to perform chemical and physical testing in a regulated laboratory environment.

You will install new instruments, develop and validate methods, and plan testing capacities to meet internal and external requirements.

Duties include documenting investigations, preparing reports, and supporting production by applying appropriate laboratory techniques across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical process, applied science or physical sciences (chemistry or physics).
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
• Sound knowledge of analytical methods, preferably trace metals analysis.

Responsibilities

• Implement chemical and/or physical testing techniques and SOPs.
• Install new instruments, develop new methods and validate methods.
• Plan testing capacities according to internal and external needs.
• Investigate deviations in laboratory measurements and report findings.
• Prepare quarterly, monthly, and specialized reports for analytic chemistry and measuring methods.
• Support production line problem solving by recommending lab techniques.
• Coordinate correlation and round-robin projects across sites.

Lab Engineer

Location: Tampines

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8 am - 5.30 pm

Basic Start from $3800- $5500

Responsibilities

• Implementation of chemical and/or physical testing techniques and standard operating procedures
• Responsible for new instrument installation, new method development and validation of methods
• Plans testing capacities according to internal and external requirements
• Conduct investigation and report any deviations of Laboratories measurements
• Draws up quarterly, monthly and specialized reports according to working documents for the analytic chemistry and/or measuring methods
• Supports problem solving in production lines by recommending appropriate internal & external laboratory techniques
• Coordinates correlation and round robin projects in all sites for the analytics and/or measuring methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical Process, Applied Science or Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Physics)
• At least 2 years laboratory experience in semiconductor or other manufacturing industries
• Sound knowledge of analytical methods preferably in trace metals analysis
• Knowledge in good laboratory practices, ISO/ IEC17025 and MSA will be added advantage
