Job summary

SHINY PEOPLE HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced IT L2 Infrastructure Engineer to own complex tickets and resolve deeper issues beyond helpdesk. You will troubleshoot Windows Server, AD, DNS, VPN, and cloud services, and work with virtualization and backup tools.

The role emphasizes independent problem-solving, rigorous change-control, and collaboration with vendors and application teams to restore services quickly and document RCA and handovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3-6 years IT / infrastructure / systems support experience; good knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN & firewall concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and follow change-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex tickets escalated from L1.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory & Group Policy
• Support DNS, DHCP, file/print services
• Administer Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace as assigned
• Support firewall & VPN configuration
• Perform server patching and maintenance
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues
• Support VMware / Hyper-V environments
• Perform backup & restore operations
• Triage basic EDR / security alerts
• Support Azure / AWS environments where required
• Prepare RCA, technical reports & handover documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and application support teams
