Job summary

Bitdeer, a Singapore-based global leader in Bitcoin mining and AI cloud, seeks an experienced Software Engineer to design and implement scalable control planes. You will build Kubernetes operators, optimize etcd, and ensure secure multi-tenant architectures across distributed regions.

Qualifications

• Requires strong software engineering foundations and hands-on Go experience.
• Extensive work with Kubernetes ecosystem, operators, API servers, or etcd.
• Proven ability to design, debug, and scale distributed systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable control plane architectures using Cluster API and related tools.
• Develop custom Kubernetes Operators and CRDs for lifecycle orchestration.
• Optimize etcd performance and ensure robust state management across regions.
• Implement secure multi-tenant isolation at the API layer for enterprise-grade security.
• Architect zero-downtime upgrades and multi-cluster federation for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with AI Scheduling and Fabric teams to align with GPU orchestration layers.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers to uphold high distributed-systems standards.
• Drive platform reliability by mitigating failure modes in the control plane.
