Job summary

Mornington Supergrocer Pte. Ltd. is seeking a diligent Kitchen Assistant to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and order in the kitchen and bar areas, ensuring food safety standards are met. The role involves dishwashing, surface sanitisation, and general area upkeep.

You will work 5 days (Wed-Sun) with two shifts: 12-3pm and 6-10pm, supporting a fast-paced kitchen team. The ideal candidate is responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Willing to work Wed-Sun 12-3pm and 6-10pm.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils using a commercial dishwasher or by hand, then dry and store.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and well maintained.
• Clean and sanitise high touch surfaces, sweep and mop floors, keep areas tidy.
• Assist with other general duties as required by the team.

• Ensure cleaning supplies and tools are well stocked and properly maintained.
• General area cleaning duties, including wiping and sanitising high touch surfaces, sweeping and mopping floor.
• Assist with other general duties as required by the team.

• Physically fit and comfortable with prolonged standing and manual cleaning tasks.
