ZHANG JI PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations and ensure high standards of hygiene and food quality.

You will assist in cutting and basic food prep, manage stock and storage, handle supplier communications, and help schedule tasks and rotations.

This role offers hands-on learning with exposure to kitchen workflows and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must maintain good hygiene.
• Able to work independently and in teams.

Responsabilités

• Assist cook in daily kitchen operations.
• Perform basic cutting and food preparation tasks.
• No cooking experience required but beneficial.
• Handle supply orders and liaise with suppliers.
• Conduct monthly stock takes.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene standards.
• Oversee food quality control and ingredient storage.
• Create kitchen schedules and manage job rotation.
• Support ad hoc duties as needed.
