PIN WEI CONCEPTS PTE. LTD. is looking for an Assistant Cook to support the kitchen operations in Singapore. The role involves assisting Cooks with food preparation, ensuring a clean and sanitary work area, and maintaining utensils, inventory, and ingredients to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have experience in North Indian cooking, be willing to work shifts, and contribute to menu development while adhering to hygiene and safety standards within budgetary limits.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen prep and food handling.
• Knowledge of hygiene codes and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using common kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook in food preparation and plating.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitise food prep areas.
• Wash, disinfect and store utensils and equipment.
• Procure and store ingredients; manage inventory.
• Operate kitchen appliances such as cutters, knives, mixers, ovens.
• Maintain budgeting for kitchen expenses and food costs.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives.
• Develop and refine menu items while respecting budget.
• Work shifts as required; flexible scheduling.
