Job summary

TUNG LOK MILLENNIUM PTE LTD is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily meal preparation in a busy kitchen. The role involves washing, cleaning, cutting, chopping fruits, vegetables, poultry and meat, and assisting with soups and sauces.

You will also help clean equipment and store items properly. We value teamwork, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a kitchen role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle long periods on feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of meal ingredients: washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, chopping fruits, vegetables, poultry and meat.
• Stir and heat soups and sauces.
• Wash and store all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards and dishes.
• Organize and store food supplies properly in kitchen, cold room and storeroom.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
