Job summary

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (S) Pte Ltd is seeking friendly, curious, and collaborative team members to join the Singapore Brew Crew. You will enter our Training Academy from day one and develop expertise in our Signature Gourmet Dishes while growing professionally.

Experience as a Barista or in customer service is helpful, but training is provided. A fast-paced environment, strong communication, and flexibility to work weekends are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, cutting, and preparing ingredients; assisting cooks with meal preparation.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Washing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, equipment, and utensils; maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
• Inventory and Stock Management: Monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food storage.
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Following food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper food handling and storage practices.
• Assisting Kitchen Staff: Supporting with various tasks, such as setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, and assisting with plating dishes.
• Other Duties: Unloading deliveries, cleaning and organizing the kitchen, and performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Your Ingredients

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred, however not required, as training will be provided in our Barista Academy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
