Success Resource Centre Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator for our Alexandra centre. You will plan weekly schedules, observe lessons, guide staff on pedagogy, and ensure a safe, hygienic classroom aligned with our learning-through-play philosophy.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in ECCE or ECDA certificate and have at least 3 years of preschool experience. Strong communication skills and PC literacy are essential to collaborate with parents and external partners.

Aufgaben

• Plan and implement the weekly schedule and programmes for preschool children.
• Observe lessons and provide feedback to staff on pedagogy and delivery.
• Plan holiday field trips and ad-hoc activities.
• Manage staff scheduling to maintain staff-child ratios.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of furniture, equipment and play resources.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders on menus and teaching resources.
• Assist with financial reporting, receipts and expenses.
• Assist with staff and child-parent matters.
• Ensure the centre premises are clean, hygienic and well-maintained.
• Ensure safety and well-being of each child.
• Maintain a safe, learning-focused and fun atmosphere.
• Perform classroom teaching duties during staff absences.

Responsibilities

• Assist to plan and implement the weekly schedule and programme(s) for preschool children in accordance with the Kindergarten Care guide.
• Observe lessons being conducted in the classrooms and provide necessary feedback to Programme Staff on pedagogy and lesson delivery.
• Assist to plan holiday field trip and ad-hoc activities.
• Assist to plan and manage the staff scheduling, to ensure ratio of staff to child is maintained at all times, including transition periods.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all furniture, furnishings, fittings, equipment and play resources.
• Work with external stakeholders on menu plans, teaching resources, survey evaluation results and make contingency plans.
• Assist with financial reporting, receipts and expenses.
• Assist with staff management and child-parent matters.
• Ensure that the Centre Premises is clean, hygienic and well-maintained at all times.
• Ensure the safety and good well-being of each individual child.
• Maintain an appropriate atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun, in line with school's philosophy.
• Perform classroom-teaching duties during the absence of Programme staff.

Period: Permanent

Location: Alexandra

Working Hours

• 10am to 7pm (During school term)
• 7am to 7pm (8 hour shift during school holidays)

Salary: Up to $3800

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder in Early Childhood Care and Educationor L2 certificate recognised by ECDA
• At least 3 years' experience in a pre-school setting
• Dedicated with positive working attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• PC literate
