Job summary

TLSC is seeking an experienced Swim Coach to lead our Learn-To-Swim program for toddlers (3-4 years) and young children (5-12 years). The role emphasizes safe, supportive instruction and nurturing a love for swimming among young learners.

You will follow TLSC's curriculum, provide personalized coaching, monitor progress, and coordinate with staff. Requirements include at least 2 years of coaching, weekday morning availability, and a Swim Coach Certification; preference given to former

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of coaching experience, preferably in teaching swimming.
Availability to work weekday mornings.
Former competitive swimmers with national-level experience preferred.
Swim Coach Certification.

Responsibilities

Conduct swimming lessons following TLSC's curriculum in a safe, supportive learning environment.
Provide personalized instruction to meet the needs and abilities of each swimmer, promoting skill development and confidence.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to swimmers and their parents/guardians regularly.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the swimming facility.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate events and activities.
