Job summary

A leading energy sector company in Singapore is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive electricity and utilities sales while contributing to the energy transition. This position is ideal for fresh graduates with a degree or diploma in Engineering or Business and offers full training. Responsibilities include preparing quotes, developing customer relationships, and supporting contract negotiations. Working hours are 8.30 am - 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, under a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in utilities or energy-related business.
  • Fresh graduates without experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit electricity and utilities quotations.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Support contract preparation with the Legal team.
  • Participate in contract negotiations.
  • Track market developments to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth delivery of commitments.
  • Handle sales and account management administrative work.

On behalf of the hiring company, which is a market leader in the energy sector, we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as Key Account Manager (Utilities & Energy):

This is an exciting opportunity to be directly involved in electricity & utilities sales (brown and green) and contribute to Singapore’s energy transition. This role can be ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are keen to develop a career in the energy and utilities sector. Full training and guidance will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit electricity and utilities quotations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Support contract preparation by working closely with the Legal team on commercial terms and conditions
  • Participate in contract negotiations to ensure alignment with company policies and customer requirements
  • Track market developments and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities proactively
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, legal, etc.) to ensure smooth delivery of commitments
  • Handle administrative work on sales and account management
  • Perform appropriate duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering/ Business with a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in utilities or energy-related business
  • Fresh graduates with no experience will be considered
  • A diploma with 3 years of relevant experience will also be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is desired
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Independent with initiatives and a positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Work location: Town

Working Hours: 8.30 am - 6.00 pm (Monday - Friday)
