Keppel (Fund Management & Investment) is seeking an energetic undergraduate with an interest in real estate investment to join our asset management team in Singapore. The role involves supporting portfolio analytics, performance monitoring and market research.

You will work on Excel modelling, data analysis, and prepare presentations for decision-making, while learning to apply ESG considerations and enhance asset strategies.

Qualifications

• Energetic and driven candidate with a strong interest in real estate investment.
• 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, economics, real estate or related subject; master students may apply.

Responsabilités

• Compile and analyse portfolio and asset related metrics.
• Participate in asset performance monitoring and modelling to identify improvements.
• Assist in presenting to senior management where applicable.
• Support asset management in developing and implementing enhancement and divestment strategies.
• Conduct research on education and local real estate markets, including transactions and trends.
• Prepare internal presentations and reports for decision making and ESG data collection.
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Description

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future.

• Compiling and analysing portfolio and asset related metrices
• Participate in asset performance monitoring and modelling to identify areas of improvement.
• Where applicable, there could be opportunity to present to senior management of Keppel.
• Support the asset management team in developing and implementing asset enhancement and divestment strategies
• Conduct research on education and local real estate markets, including transactions, trends, and competitor analysis
• Assist to prepare internal presentations and reports for decision making, and collating data for ESG related requirements
• Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Learning Outcomes: Learn how to implement asset management strategies and monitor fund/portfolio performance, conduct feasibility studies and use of analytics such as Power BI. Improve analytical skills. Improve communication skills (through presentation – both verbal and written) Understand the importance of ESG for fund management and what is important for GRESB submission. Learn to be adaptable and work with different people within an organisation

Job Requirements

• We are looking for an energetic and driven candidate with a strong interest in real estate investment;
• 2) 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate studying towards a degree in accountancy, finance, economics, real estate or another related subject. Master students can also apply;
• 3) Keen interest in the real estate investment field and willing to learn;
• 4) Team player;
• 5) Strong excel modelling and analysis skill;
• 6) Good communication skills (both verbal and written);
• 7) Good analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
