Job summary

Keppel Infrastructure invites an intern to contribute to data-driven programme management by building and maintaining Power BI dashboards that integrate data from Procore, SharePoint, and Excel. You will transform data, design clear executive visuals, and support UI/UX improvements across platforms.

You will gain hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and enterprise data platforms, while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver value-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics or Computer Science.
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards by data integration from Procore, SharePoint and Excel.
• Perform data extraction, cleaning, transformation and modelling using Power BI (Power Query and DAX).
• Design executive dashboards with clarity, usability and UI/UX focus.
• Assist in Power Apps UI/UX design and workflow functionality for programme management.
• Support Power Automate workflows to streamline processes across SharePoint and Power BI.
• Help build data infrastructure and ensure alignment with SSOT principles.
• Apply analytics for reporting, insights and financial analysis or projections.
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including UI/UX research and validation.
• Participate in digitisation and automation opportunity assessments and proposal preparations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards by integrating data from platforms such as Procore, SharePoint, and Excel, ensuring data consistency and reliability
• Perform data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and modelling using Power BI (Power Query and DAX)
• Design and develop executive-ready dashboards and visualisations with strong emphasis on clarity, usability, and UI/UX principles
• Support development of Power Apps solutions, including UI/UX design and workflow functionality for programme management use cases
• Support implementation of Power Automate workflows, integrating systems such as SharePoint and Power BI to streamline and automate processes
• Support development and maintenance of data infrastructure, including structuring datasets, managing data flows, and ensuring alignment with single source of truth (SSOT) principles
• Apply data analytics techniques to support reporting, insights generation, and financial analysis or projections
• Support creation of user stories, story points, and test cases, and assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including UI/UX research and validation of solutions
• Conduct research on digitisation initiatives and automation opportunities, and support preparation of proposals for process improvement
• Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders, developers, and vendors on system requirements and enhancements
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / Head of Department from time to time

Job Requirements

• University undergraduate from Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related disciplines, with demonstrated interest in data and digital solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (Power Query and DAX)
• Strong understanding of data visualisation and UI/UX principles, with ability to design clear and effective dashboards
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Basic understanding of data infrastructure and data management concepts
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, data, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to translate data outputs into clear and actionable insights
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with SharePoint Online and enterprise platforms (e.g. Procore) is an advantage
• Familiarity with construction/project financial metrics, programme management concepts, and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) is an advantage
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum), including exposure to user stories, UAT processes, and UI/UX research, is an advantage
• Exposure to Python, API/data connectivity concepts, or front-end development (e.g. React, TailwindCSS) is an advantage
• Exposure to NLP, LLM, or AI-related concepts is an added advantage
