The role focuses on real-time market data platforms, low-latency trading solutions and quantitative analytics within eFX. You will work closely with traders, quants and technology teams to evolve, optimise and deliver key trading and analytics capabilities. Qualifications

• 5+ years experience developing solutions using KDB+ and q
• Experience within Capital Markets environments
• Experience with real-time market data and time-series databases
• Strong knowledge of KDB+ concepts and performance optimisation
• Experience in Linux-based development environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work with business users and technology stakeholders
• Preferred: Electronic FX (eFX) experience; FX spot/forwards/options; agile delivery environments

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance KDB+/q solutions supporting electronic FX trading activities
• Build and maintain market data ingestion, storage and analytics solutions
• Develop and optimise real-time and historical data-processing pipelines
• Support quantitative analysts by implementing analytics, calculations and reporting requirements
• Work with traders, quants and technology stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of low-latency market data platforms
• Design and develop scalable data models and data structures within KDB+
• Support data quality, performance optimisation and operational stability initiatives
• Build integrations between KDB+, Python and surrounding technology platforms
• Participate in platform enhancements, proof-of-concepts and technical design discussions
• Assist with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of data and platform-related issues
