JPMorgan Chase in Singapore is seeking a Lead KDB Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable KDB-based systems for the Equities Trading data platform, ensuring reliability for real-time and historical datasets.

You will partner with Electronic Trading, Quantitative Research, and trading teams to implement data enrichment, performance optimizations, and automated CI/CD workflows that elevate the platform's resilience and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with KDB/Q.
• Deep understanding of KDB+ tick design and data organization.
• Experience with large datasets, performance optimization, and high-availability KDB apps.
• Experience collaborating with quant, algo, or trading teams to deliver data solutions.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Experience with scaling and load-balancing KDB applications.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable KDB-based systems, capturing real-time and historical datasets for market data and analytics.
• Collaborate with Electronic Trading and QR teams to capture requirements, implement data enrichment / analytics for derivatives trading strategies.
• Execute innovative software solutions, design, development, and debugging, beyond routine approaches.
• Act as SME for KDB applications enabling Derivatives Systematic Trading.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug others' code.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
• Partner with application support teams to maintain and support the platform.
