Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a Jurong West-based Business Analyst to support student management systems, gather requirements, and optimize processes. You will work with users, IT teams and vendors to implement system enhancements and resolve issues.

The role also involves data analysis with Excel and SQL, developing test scenarios, coordinating UAT, and maintaining documentation. Monday to Friday, West location, with up to SGD 4,200 monthly remuneration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Systems or a related field.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of SQL, Python, VBA or low-code tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements and translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories and process flows.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Support project workshops, requirements documentation, action tracking and stakeholder coordination.
• Develop test scenarios, coordinate UAT, track defects and support system implementation.
• Provide Level 2 system support and troubleshoot issues with internal IT teams and vendors.
• Perform system configurations and support system enhancements using low-code tools.
• Use Excel and SQL to extract, reconcile, clean and analyse data for reporting and operational needs.
• Support data cleansing, preparation and migration activities.
• Monitor data quality and system performance and follow up on identified issues.
• Maintain system documentation, user guides, FAQs and other knowledge resources.
