Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) in Singapore is seeking a Junior Electronic Trading Support Engineer to join our Global Trade Operations team. You will help manage live trading, monitor systems, and optimize the production trading environment.

The role requires quick thinking under pressure, good communication with traders and engineers, and scripting experience. You’ll respond to market alerts, support deployments, and act as the first line of defense during market hours in APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Engineering, Physics, Math)
• Experience with UNIX systems
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash) and good communication with clients

Responsibilities

• Support live trading during APAC market hours
• Respond to external market alerts and outages
• Coordinate technical rollouts of new trading strategies
• Interface with exchanges & trading desks to support trading
• Handle order flow and monitoring of the production trading platform
