Confidential in Singapore is seeking an entry-level trading/trade execution professional to support senior traders and portfolio managers. You will help generate performance reports, monitor execution quality, and assist with daily trade processing in a fast-paced hedge fund environment.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn, and teamwork. A degree in finance or related fields is preferred, with hands-on exposure to equity markets and derivatives being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Interest in hedge fund trading and financial markets.
• Understanding of listed equities and derivatives.
• Proficiency in Excel, Python, VBA; able to analyze data.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on trading/execution-related duties to senior traders and PMs.
• Generate portfolio risk, positioning, attribution and P&L reporting.
• Monitor transaction cost analysis for best execution practices.
• Assist in daily trade processing and reconciliation via trading systems.
• Resolve daily trade issues with brokers and prime brokers.
• Monitor corporate actions, dividends accruals/payments, financing charges and commissions.
• Maintain restriction list for IPO/participation in offerings.
• Involve in ad-hoc trading, operations, and projects.
