Job summary

Fenix One in Singapore seeks a quantitative thinker for a full trading seat, pricing and trading across live markets using internal models and infrastructure. You will work directly with senior traders and technologists from day one, gaining real ownership as you prove readiness.

You will execute trades, monitor risk, and analyse data to improve strategies, with mentorship and accelerated responsibility in a lean, high-trust team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Maths, Physics, Engineering, CS, Economics or Finance).
• Excellent numerical and analytical ability; comfortable with data, probability and uncertainty under time pressure.
• Practical Python programming experience; confident with Excel for data analysis and modelling.
• Clear, direct communication in English; strong problem-solving and fast decision-making.
• Logical, fast-learning mindset and proactive self-starter approach.
• 0–2 years of work experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades across futures, equities, ETFs, FX, and crypto using proprietary models.
• Monitor live positions, manage intraday risk, and upscale anomalies clearly.
• Develop understanding of markets, instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
• Analyse historical and live data to identify patterns and evaluate model performance.
• Collaborate with senior traders, researchers, and technologists to improve methods.
• Maintain discipline under fast-moving, high-stakes conditions.
• Contribute to post-trade analysis and operational processes in a small team.
