Job summary

FENIX FUND MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a trader to execute a broad range of financial products on multiple exchanges using internal trading models and low-latency technology.

You will research and develop new trading strategies to capitalize on market anomalies, manage positions, and continuously analyze risk while collaborating with world-class traders, developers, and technologists to improve methods and models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or quantitative majors (Math, Physics, Engineering).
• Strong numerical/analytical skills and affinity for trading and global financial markets.
• Practical Python programming experience.
• Superior knowledge of Excel.
• Clear communication skills in English.
• Competitive, outgoing, and fast decision-making under pressure.
• Independent, logical problem solving with quick understanding of complex concepts.
• Pragmatic self-starter with a can-do mentality.

Responsibilities

• Price and trade financial products across futures, equities, ETFs, FX, and cryptocurrencies.
• Manage positions and formulate innovative trading strategies.
• Continuously analyse the risk of positions.
• Collaborate with traders, developers, and technologists to improve trading methods and models.
• Understand relevant regulatory frameworks across markets the firm trades.
