With more than 17 years of experience, we support productions from planning through to final execution, working with artists, organisations, venues, suppliers, and event partners in Singapore and internationally.

We are also exploring how new media and emerging technologies can enhance live shows and audience experiences. These may include projection, interactive media, real-time visuals, digital content, hybrid events, show-control systems, and other experience-led technologies.

We work behind the scenes to help every production run smoothly—from technical planning and experimentation to rehearsals and show day.

The Role

We are looking for a Junior Technical Production Executive to join our production team and grow with us as we expand into live, immersive, and digital experiences.

This is an entry-level role designed to develop the successful candidate towards becoming aTechnical Managercapable of supporting both traditional live productions and technology-driven experiences.

No prior full-time experience is required, and fresh graduates are welcome. However, applicants should have some practical exposure to technical production through school productions, coursework, internships, volunteering, freelance projects, or part-time work.

Experience usingVectorworksandDWG files and technical drawingsis strongly preferred.

You do not need to be experienced in every form of new media. We are looking for someone technically curious, willing to experiment, and interested in learning how physical production and digital technology can work together.

This hands-on role combines office-based technical planning and experimentation with work at rehearsals, venues, installations, and live shows. It is not a digital-marketing or fully desk-based position.

What You Will Do
Live and Technical Production
  • Support the technical planning and execution of live productions
  • Assist with sound, lighting, staging, audiovisual systems, and production equipment
  • Help prepare stage plans, venue layouts, equipment layouts, and technical drawings
  • Use Vectorworks and autocad to create and update production drawings
  • Read, amend, import, and export DWG and PDF files
  • Assist with venue inspections, site measurements, and technical assessmentsli>
  • Prepare equipment lists, signal-flow information, setup plans, and production documents
  • Support load-ins, technical setups, rehearsals, show operations, changeovers, and load-outs
  • Assist with backstage and stage-management operations when required
  • Coordinate technical requirements with venues, suppliers, contractors, crew members, and production partners
  • Help identify and resolve technical issues during rehearsals and live shows
Digital and New-Media Experiences
  • Support projects involving projection, LED displays, digital content, and interactive media
  • Assist with digital-content playback and show-control systems
  • Help test new production technologies and prototype audience experiences
  • Support hybrid events, livestreams, and productions combining physical and digital elements
  • Assist with setting up and testing screens, projectors, cameras, sensors, computers, and related equipment
  • Work with creative and technical teams to connect digital content with the physical production
  • Research new tools and approaches that could improve shows or audience experiences
  • Document technical setups and learning from tests and completed projects

Technical Skills We Value

Experience in every area is not required. Familiarity with any of the following will be an advantage:

  • Vectorworks and technical production drawings
  • Reading and working with DWG files
  • Sound, lighting, staging, and audiovisual systems
  • Projection, LED screens, cameras, and digital-content playback
  • Livestreaming and hybrid-event systems
  • QLab, Resolume, TouchDesigner, or similar show-control and interactive-media tools
  • Unreal Engine, Unity, or other real-time visual platforms
  • Basic computer networking and audiovisual signal flow
  • Technical theatre, live events, audiovisual production, engineering, digital media, or a related field

Relevant experience may come from school productions, internships, freelance projects, community events, CCAs, volunteer work, or personal experiments.

Working Requirements

You must be willing and able to:

  • Work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and extended show hours when required
  • Travel overseas occasionally for projects
  • Participate in physical production work, including setup, moving equipment, and load-out tasks
  • Work in fast-paced environments where priorities may change quickly
  • Learn unfamiliar equipment and software when a project requires it

On non-show days, work will generally be office-based and focused on technical planning, drawings, equipment coordination, testing, research, documentation, and production preparation.

Selection Process
1. Interview

A short conversation to understand your interests, technical exposure, working style, and suitability for the role.

2. Paid Practical Assessment

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to support two actual show days with the team.

You will be assigned basic, supervised tasks and experience the real production environment. The team will assess your attitude, technical awareness, practical ability, willingness to learn, teamwork, communication, and safety awareness.

A basic Vectorworks, Cad, technical drawing, or practical technology exercise may also be included.

The show days will be paid at an agreed daily rate. If no suitable live shows are available during the assessment period, a one-day paid practical session will be arranged instead.

3. Final Decision

We will consider both the interview and practical assessment before confirming whether the role is a good fit for both you and the company.
