Job summary

Vilgain Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Social Video Editor to shoot and edit social-first video content, collaborating closely with the Social Media Manager and the broader marketing team to bring ideas to life.

You will own end-to-end production from concept through editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, creating native-feeling content for Reels, TikTok and Shorts with a strong sense of storytelling and ownership.

Qualifications

• A portfolio that shows concrete social-first video work - ideally Reels, TikToks, other short-form brand content
• Experience creating advertising, brand or social media video content
• Ability to independently shoot and edit a short, engaging product videos
• Comfortable working with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and similar tools
• Strong understanding of storytelling - rhythm, emotion, tension and a clear point
• You take ownership and don't need to be chased to finish things
• You make good decisions on your own, without a playbook to follow
• You'd rather get it right than just get it done

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit short, engaging product ads and social-first video content across formats like Reels, TikTok and Shorts
• Work in daily collaboration with the Social Media Manager, turning their concepts and briefs into finished, native-feeling videos
• Edit using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and similar tools
• Work with people in front of the camera and help bring out natural, authentic and compelling stories
• Bring your own editing ideas, trends and visual touches to elevate every concept you're given
• Collaborate closely with the creative, brand and marketing teams on content that has a clear purpose
