Job summary

NEWMEDIA EXPRESS PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Entry Level Server Support Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Singapore.

This early-career role offers hands-on experience with server deployment, troubleshooting, and data center operations in a fast-paced hosting environment. You will support first-line technical issues, assist with OS installation (Linux/Windows), rack and cabling tasks, and contribute to documentation and SOPs.

Qualifications

Diploma or ITE in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and server hardware is an advantage.
Familiarity with AI tools for technical research, troubleshooting, and documentation is an advantage.
Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced technical environment; standby duty and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for hosting and server-related issues.
Assist with server deployment, OS installation, and basic configuration (Linux / Windows).
Perform routine server checks including system health monitoring and updates.
Support backup verification and basic system maintenance tasks.
Maintain server inventory and infrastructure documentation.
Assist with rack installation, server mounting, and network cabling; provide remote hands and eyes support.
Maintain technical logs, maintenance records, and SOPs.
