Job summary

SHJIANLI (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support complex construction projects in Singapore. The role involves coordinating site teams, safety, quality and environmental requirements while driving schedule progress at TUAS, with company shuttle service provided.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of PM experience in construction, a bachelor’s degree and a certification in construction safety management, and fluent English and Mandarin for stakeholder liaison.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Holder of a bachelor's degree and a certificate in construction safety project management.
• Proven track record in managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate training is provided to all site staff as well as sub-contractor workers.
• Provide direction and assistance to operational personnel on quality, safety, health & environmental matters.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions to eliminate non-conformities.
• Lead safety inspections and remedial actions when necessary.
• Report and investigate injuries, damages and loss incurred.
• Implement site utilization plan and equipping.
• Plan for the Master Works programme and implement/amend schedule.
• Appoint essential staff and specialist subcontractors.
• Prepare PQEHS Plan and ensure project quality, safety and environment objectives are met.
• Ensure timely completion of the project and document deviations from drawings.
• Review and approve subcontractor/supplier progress claims.

Due to business expansion, we are now seeking experienced and responsible Junior Project Manager to join our team and grow with the company.

Work Location: TUAS (Company provides shuttle bus service)

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate training is provided to all site staff as well as sub-contractor's workers.
• Provide direction and assistance to operational individuals on quality, safety, health & environmental matter.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions to eliminate non-conformities to an acceptable tolerance.
• Initiate fellow colleagues to conduct safety inspections or patrols and take remedial action if necessary.
• Report & investigate injuries, damages & loss incurred.
• Implement site utilization plan and equipping.
• Plan for the Master Works programme.
• Implement, track and amend programme.
• Appointment of essential staffs and specialist subcontractors.
• Prepare Project Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Plan (PQEHS Plan).
• Responsible for the timely completion of a project.
• Identify and record works deviation from Contract Drawings and document such deviation.
• Review progress claim application recommended by Contract Department.
• Approval of sub-con/supplier progress claim.
• Responsible for the achievement site quality, health, safety and environmental objectives as set.
• Ensure company's quality, safety, health & environmental policies, programmes and procedures are implemented in the workplace.

Job Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
• Hold a bachelor's degree and a certificate in construction safety project management.
• Proven track record in successfully managing complex construction projects, from inception to completion
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate challenges and find creative solutions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
