Job summary

HUI JU SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an able construction site supervisor to support the Senior Project Manager/Director in planning and supervising site activities.

You will help ensure milestones are met, monitor progress, and coordinate with sub-contractors, clients, and consultants to keep operations running smoothly. The role involves guiding workers, applying problem-solving skills, assessing risks, and maintaining quality and safety standards while managing daily site operations

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Manager or Director in planning and supervising construction site work to ensure project milestones are met
• Monitor construction progress to keep work on track and aligned with project plans
• Coordinate construction planning and communicate effectively with sub-contractors, clients, and consultants to facilitate smooth operations
• Supervise and guide workers to meet project requirements and quality standards
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues arising during construction activities
• Analyze workplace and process risks to minimize impact on construction progress and safety
• Support Senior Project Manager/HOD in coordinating ongoing project tasks and activities
• Manage daily site operations to ensure efficient execution of construction work
• Ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining high quality standards
• Achieve goals related to customer satisfaction, quality, and team performance through effective site management
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations on construction sites
• Assist Senior Project Manager/HOD in conducting feasibility studies for new projects as they arise
• Identify potential construction issues or contractual disputes and implement appropriate solutions
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned
