Job summary

At Axi, we are seeking a curious and hands-on Junior Product Designer who enjoys solving real user problems and bringing ideas to life. You will design intuitive experiences for trading and payments used by customers worldwide, collaborating with PMs and engineers in a highly regulated financial environment.

Working with experienced designers, you’ll rapidly develop your product thinking as ideas evolve from concept to production, while contributing to and evolving Axi's Design System and

Qualifications

• 2 years of Product Design or UX/UI Design experience.
• Experience in FinTech, Payments, Trading, Banking, or transaction-based products is advantageous.
• Interest in designing accurate, clear, and trustworthy user experiences.
• Growing product mindset with willingness to understand business goals.
• Eagerness to learn modern design systems and AI-assisted workflows.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with PMs, engineers, and designers.
• Curious, proactive, and open to feedback and development.
• Strong attention to detail and delivering thoughtful user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centric experiences for web and mobile with PMs and engineers.
• Prototype ideas quickly using AI-powered design tools to validate flows.
• Lead end-to-end design process from discovery to high-fidelity designs.
• Map customer journeys across onboarding, deposits, withdrawals, trading, and accounts.
• Contribute to and maintain Axi's Design System with reusable components.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure feasible, high-quality implementations.
• Consider edge cases, accessibility, and usability for trustworthy financial experiences.
• Participate in design critiques and workshops to improve product quality.
• Stay curious about AI trends and design best practices.
• Balance user needs with technical constraints and regulatory considerations.
