Job summary

AMshots GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking an Editor cum Videographer to turn raw footage into polished videos for clients, with occasional on-location shoots.

You will edit automotive shoots, brand commercials, events, and short-form social content. You will handle color grading, sound, motion graphics, subtitles; cut short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts; collaborate with producers and clients to align on briefs and timelines; manage footage and deliver final files.

Qualifications

• Experience in video editing with a portfolio or freelance work.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
• Familiarity with After Effects, CapCut or other motion graphics tools is a plus.
• Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, composition and detail.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Portfolio or showreel of editing work required.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos from rough cut to final delivery, including colour grading, sound mixing, motion graphics and subtitles.
• Cut short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimised for each platform.
• Work with producers and clients to understand briefs and creative direction.
• Make revisions based on client and internal feedback within agreed timelines.
• Managing and organising raw footage, project files and archives.
• Exporting and delivering final files in the correct formats and specs.
• Operating camera, lighting and audio equipment on shoots when required.
• Supporting on-site production, including gear setup and capturing B-roll.
• Keeping up with editing styles and short-form video trends to bring fresh ideas to each project.
• Traveling to client locations (studio and external shoots) when needed.

Job description

As an Editor cum Videographer at AMshots, you will spend most of your time editing in-house, turning raw footage into polished videos for our clients. From time to time, you will also head out on shoots as a videographer. You will work on automotive shoots, brand commercials, event coverage, and short-form social media content.

• Cutting short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimised for each platform
• Working with producers and clients to understand briefs and creative direction

Requirements

• Prior experience in video editing (freelance or portfolio work accepted)
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar

• Basic to intermediate camera skills, including gimbals, lighting and audio gear
• Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, composition and detail
• Good sense of current short-form content trends on Instagram and TikTok
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and take feedback well
• Portfolio or showreel of editing work required
