Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Junior PCB Design Engineer to support the development of new PCB designs and the enhancement of existing ones.

You will develop PCB layouts, including component placement and trace routing, review designs, and assist with circuit simulation and testing. Training will be provided to grow skills within a dedicated engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in electronics or related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of PCB design and layout is preferred.
• Familiarity with PCB design software is advantageous.
• Able to read technical drawings and prepare engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new PCB designs and enhance existing designs.
• Develop PCB layouts including component placement and trace routing.
• Review designs and suggest improvements where appropriate.
• Assist with circuit simulation and feasibility evaluation for new concepts.
• Prepare design documentation, specifications and PCB models.
• Perform PCB testing and analyse test results.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and participate in discussions.
• Support continuous improvements to PCB functionality, quality and reliability.

• Position: Junior PCB Design Engineer

• Location: Toa Payoh North

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

• Salary (commensurate with experience): S$3,800–S$4,000 Basic Monthly + AWS + Variable Bonus of up to 2 Months, subject to company performance + 14 Days Annual Leave

• Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the development of new PCB designs and enhancement of existing designs.

• Develop PCB layouts, including component placement and trace routing.

• Review existing designs and recommend improvements where appropriate.

• Assist with circuit simulation and feasibility evaluation for new design concepts.

• Prepare design documentation, specifications and PCB models.

• Perform PCB testing and assist in analysing test results.

• Provide regular updates on project progress and participate in project discussions.

• Support continuous improvements to PCB functionality, quality and reliability.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Basic knowledge or hands-on exposure to PCB design and layout is preferred.

• Familiarity with PCB design software through work, internship, school projects or practical training will be advantageous.

• Basic understanding of electronic circuits, component placement and PCB routing.

• Able to read technical drawings and prepare basic engineering documentation.

• Willing to learn, detail-oriented and able to work well within an engineering team.

• Training will be provided.
