Job description

Description of Role, Key Duties and Responsibilities

The role of an Oil Broker will broadly comprise:

1. (i) executing client orders and price matching services, in line with best execution policy, in respect of energy commodity derivatives;
2. (ii) understanding and providing clients with information regarding the derivatives market and highlighting trading opportunities.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

1. (i) researching and writing market reports and analysis;
2. (ii) pricing and discussing trades for and with clients;
3. (iii) working with other members of the Arrow Energy Markets team to meet client needs;
4. (iv) service and develop client relationships, including by providing valuable and frequent communications with clients;
5. (v) acting in a way that complies with the regulatory environment.
6. (vi) work with other team members to increase business trading volumes and the number of clients, including by undertaking business development activities.
