Job summary

Simba Telecom PTE. LTD. is seeking a legal professional to provide advisory services for the business and operations in Singapore. The role covers contract review, drafting and negotiation across commercial, technology and telecom agreements, with collaboration across internal teams to ensure policy compliance and governance.

The ideal candidate is qualified in Singapore with 0–2 years PQE and strong drafting and negotiating skills, plus a business-minded, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Provide advisory on legal matters to Simba’s business and operations.
• Draft and review commercial and technology contracts and related docs.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary legal advisory to Simba’s business and operational functions.
• Contract review, drafting and negotiation for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions, including contracts and documentation for commercial, telecommunications, technology, media, sales and procurement contracts.
• Work collaboratively with various SIMBA stakeholders to ensure compliance of internal policies, corporate governance and legal and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

• Provide necessary legal advisory to Simba’s business and operational functions.
• Contract review, drafting and negotiation for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions, including contracts and documentation for commercial, telecommunications, technology, media, sales and procurement contracts.
• Work collaboratively with various SIMBA stakeholders to ensure compliance of internal policies, corporate governance and legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified in Singapore
• 0 to 2 years of PQE
• Experience in any or a combination of the following areas of law: Corporate / Commercial / Telecommunications / Technology / Dispute Resolution
• Prior in-house experience in TMT will be an advantage
• Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills
• Strong interest in commercial transactions
• Analytical, strategic thinker, pragmatic and solution oriented, with good business acumen
• Reliable, self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently
• Responsive, articulate and with strong interpersonal and communication skills
