Job summary

Dragon Rouge Singapore is seeking a Junior Designer to join our branding and packaging team. You will support concept-to-execution for brand identities and packaging, collaborating closely with senior designers and project managers.

You’ll contribute fresh ideas, create logos and assets, and help deliver high-quality design solutions aligned with client goals. You will gain hands-on experience across branding, packaging, and production workflows in a dynamic agency setting.

Qualifications

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Designer to join our team. You will support the development of brand identities and packaging designs, assisting with projects from concept through to execution. Working closely with the design team, you will contribute fresh ideas, develop your creative skills, and help deliver high-quality design solutions that align with our clients' brands and objectives.

Conceptualization and Design:

• Collaborate closely with senior designers and project managers to develop innovative and effective design concepts for branding and packaging design projects.
• Assist in the creation of visual assets including logos, brand identities, packaging designs, product labels, promotional materials, and other graphic elements.
• Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to execute designs with precision and creativity.

Creative Input and Collaboration:

• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, offering creative ideas and solutions to enhance project outcomes and meet client objectives.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including design, strategy, andclient services to ensure cohesive and consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, consumer behaviour, competitor analysis, and market insights to inform design decisions and maintain relevance in the marketplace.
• Translate research findings into actionable design strategies that align with client objectives and target audience preferences.

Project Management and Organization:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to meet project milestones and client expectations.
• Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and documentation to facilitate efficient workflow and seamless collaboration among team members.

Communication and Presentation:

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, presenting design concepts and rationale with clarity and professionalism.
• Solicit feedback from team members and clients, incorporating constructive criticism to refine designs and achieve desired outcomes.

Skill Development and Growth:

• Stay abreast of emerging design trends, tools, and techniques through continuous learning and professional development.
