Job summary

Makers Fund is seeking a junior Fund Accountant based in Singapore to support NAV reporting, accounting records, and regulatory compliance. You will work with our global finance team and report to the Senior Finance Director.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, exposure to a fast-moving venture fund, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance and wellness allowances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar required.
• 1–2 years of fund or corporate accounting experience.
• ACCA or CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Singapore MAS quarterly/annual returns and IRAS tax filing preferred.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reports, management accounts and fund accounting reports.
• Record accounting journal entries for the Fund and Investment Management Companies.
• Review capital distribution notices and reconcile with internal records.
• Identify exceptions and perform quality checks on accounting records.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules, annual financial statements, regulatory reports and tax returns.
• Process payments and input/review reimbursements.
• Ad-hoc tasks including opening bank accounts and preparing management reports.
