Job summary

AVOLT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an eager engineer to plan and supervise electrical and M&E projects. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to keep work on schedule and within budget.

Entry-level candidates are welcome; you will gain hands-on design experience for Electrical and ELV works, with support to develop skills in project documentation, progress claims, risk assessment and site supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or Electrical or equivalent.
• No work experience required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Entry level suitable for Sales/Marketing/BD roles.
• Fast learner, self-motivated with good problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling of projects
• To manage Electrical / M&E construction projects and to monitor the projects are carried out with respect to the target schedule
• To handle design for Electrical and ELV works and to ensure clients' requirements are met
• To attend project meeting and to coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors and sub contractors
• Preparation of Progress Claim, Materials Submission, Risk Assessment, Progress Report, Shop Drawings & As Built Drawings for projects
• To forecast and anticipate possible issue for projects and to eliminate potential risks
• Site supervision and to liaise with supervisors and workers to ensure smooth work flow
• Planning of manpower and work arrangement with site person in charge
• To liase with suppliers on procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
• Assist in settlement of project final account including variation orders
