Job summary

SINSTAR (2024) PRECAST PTE. LTD. is seeking BIM Modellers in Singapore with experience in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks to deliver multi-disciplinary BIM models and robust documentation.

You will join a team to produce complete drawing sets, raise RFI, and support project workflows, templates and BIM standards. Candidates should have an ITE or Diploma in C&S Engineering and multiple years of experience within Singapore consultant firms, contributing to structure modelling and collaborative BIM

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in C&S Engineering.
• 2 years experience for Junior, 5 years for Senior at a Singapore consultancy.
• Experience in Singapore consultant firms.
• Experience in preparing and drafting structural drawings with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise what details are necessary for a complete set of drawings.
• Produce BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks timely and with quality.
• Model multidisciplinary structures, with emphasis on structural modelling.
• Identify discrepancies and propose solutions to Project Manager.
• Assist in BIM documentation: RFI, sheets, schedules, 3D presentation, drawing list, and time sheet.
• Assist in BIM project setup: templates, library, title blocks, CDE and workflows.
• Develop BIM standards, protocol and library.
• Support collaboration with architects, engineers, clients and contractors on BIM implementation.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least ITE / Diploma in C&S Engineering.
• Applicants must have a minimum 2 years of working experience in a Singapore Consultancy firm for the Junior position, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for Senior position.
• Committed and able to work as a team.
• Candidates shall have relevant experience in Singapore consultant firm, preparing and drafting structural plan using AutoCAD and Revit.

Job Description

1. Good understanding in drawings and able to conceptualise what details are necessary for a complete set of drawings.
2. Reasonably knowledgeable and experienced in BIM tools including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
3. To produce multi-disciplinary BIM models in a timely manner and with quality.
4. Reasonably capable in doing multi-disciplinary modelling; expected to be at least well-versed in doing structure modelling.
5. To highlight model / drawing discrepancies, missing information or potential issues to Project Manager.
6. Able to propose solutions to the discrepancies.
7. Assist in preparation of BIM documentation such as RFI, sheets, schedules, 3D presentation, report, drawing list, tracking list, chronological order of events and time sheet.
8. Assist in the initial setup of BIM projects, including but not limited to project template, Revit family library, title block, CDE and workflows.
9. Assist in development of BIM standards, protocol and library.
10. To support collaborations with project architects, engineers, clients, consultants and contractors in terms of BIM implementation.
