Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore is seeking a Junior Data Engineer (AWS Architect) to contribute to building scalable data pipelines and governance practices within a government/public sector context.

You will design ingestion and transformation pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and Redshift, while maintaining the Glue Data Catalogue and enforcing security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, Lake Formation).
• Strong SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or Scala).
• Experience with Data Lake or Lakehouse architectures.
• AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate or Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
• Experience with Tableau, SageMaker via MLOps, Salesforce AppFlow, or CDC patterns.
• Prior experience in a government or public sector data environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of the AWS Data Lake and Lakehouse solution across Landing, Transformed, and Curated zones
