Job summary

Mikron Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a Controls Engineer to assist in designing and programming control systems, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.

You will modify designs to Mikron standards, develop customer-specific programs, and participate in validation activities, FAT and SAT, while collaborating closely with project team members and customers. The role requires knowledge of Allen-Bradley, C#, VB, and Siemens S7/TIA Portal, plus willingness to travel and occasionally work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering or equivalent; or at least 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge in Allen Bradley and C#, VB and Siemens S7/TIA Portal programming. Third Party Interface (Servo/Vision/Load Cell) is an advantage.
• Ability to make sound decisions, work independently and within a team structure.
• Well organized and respectful of project deadlines.
• Effective communication skills with customers, peers, and management at all levels.
• Flexible, confidential and organized while addressing diverse responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime occasionally as required.
• Positive attitude and result orientation.
• Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of controls systems and programming to meet budget and time expectations as defined by Project Manager.
• Modify controls design and documents per Mikron Processes & Standards and compliance to industry standards according to customer URS.
• Develop specific program per customer and project requirements based on Mikron Coding Standard.
• Participate in controls and validation activities, conduct test and debug, internal buy-off, FAT and SAT.
• Work together with the Customer, Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Process Manager, Design Engineers and other project team members as required.
• Communication with Customer as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers as needed.
• Update PCT and task completion accordingly
