Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain automation software solutions supporting factory operations, including autonomous material delivery, factory scheduling, and in-house equipment automation.
• Work closely with site manufacturing teams to understand operational needs and develop automated scheduling solutions that improve productivity, cycle time, and system efficiency.
• Collaborate with global factory automation teams to enable and integrate autonomous mobile robot solutions for automated material delivery within the factory.
• Partner with global equipment and automation groups to develop, enhance, and support in-house equipment automation, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of production systems.
• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of automation solutions, including understanding requests, solution design, development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous evaluation and improvement.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and performance improvement using data analysis, system monitoring, and visualization tools (e.g., dashboards and reports).
• Support day‑to‑day production operations by troubleshooting automation systems, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Perl and/or Python, SQL, and web technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS), with demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new programming languages and frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux‑based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux), including system usage, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployment, data processing, or infrastructure usage.
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience or practical exposure to AI and Machine Learning techniques is an advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership potential through teamwork, collaboration, or involvement in activities beyond academic coursework.
• Strong growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and self‑improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a structured and logical approach.
• Clear, concise, and effective communication skills.
