Job summary

ONEGLOBAL BROKING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is looking for a motivated Junior Broker – Financial Lines to join our growing broking team. You will support servicing and placement of Financial Lines business while developing technical knowledge, client management skills and market understanding.

Working with experienced brokers, you will gain exposure to D&O, PI, Cyber, Crime and other financial risks, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate records as you progress in a specialist insurance career.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support in managing and servicing a portfolio of Financial Lines clients.
• Assist with placements and renewals across D&O, PI, Cyber, Crime and related risks.
• Prepare renewal documents, underwriting submissions, quotations and proposals.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information for new business and policy admin.
• Coordinate with insurers to obtain quotations and clarify terms.
• Prepare client presentations and broking documentation.
• Maintain accurate client and placement records on internal systems.
• Collaborate with broking, claims, finance and operations to ensure service excellence.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Broker – Financial Lines to join our growing broking team.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in specialist insurance. Working alongside experienced brokers, you will support the servicing and placement of Financial Lines business while developing your technical knowledge, client management skills and understanding of the insurance market.

Key Responsibilities

• Support team in the management and servicing of a portfolio of Financial Lines clients.
• Assist with insurance placements and renewals across products such as Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Professional Indemnity (PI), Cyber, Crime and other financial and professional risks.
• Assist in preparing renewal documentation, underwriting submissions, quotations and insurance proposals.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information required for new business, renewals and policy administration.
• Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotations and clarify coverage, terms and conditions.
• Assist with the review and comparison of insurer quotations and policy terms.
• Prepare client presentations, quotation summaries and other broking documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations, documentation and policy issuance.
• Maintain accurate and complete client and placement records on internal systems.
• Work closely with colleagues across broking, claims, finance and operations to ensure a high standard of client service.
• Develop knowledge of Financial Lines products, market developments and insurer appetite.
• Support the team with new business opportunities and client presentations as required.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
