Job summary

Bng Hospitality is launching a new bar concept at the National Gallery Singapore. The role is to deliver top-tier service, handle beverage preparation, and maintain a vibrant day-to-night bar experience.

The successful candidate will bring bartender experience in fast-paced settings, strong communication, and a commitment to hygiene and safety. This on-site role offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities to grow with the brand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of beverage recipes, preparation methods, and presentation techniques.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in F&B.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and polish glasses to ensure pristine presentation for drinks.
• Maintain a clean bar area and uphold high hygiene standards.
• Assist with preparation tasks to streamline bar service efficiency.
• Regularly check and replenish ice levels and mixers.
• Take customer orders and provide attentive, friendly service.
• Set up the bar for service and close it efficiently at day end.
• Organize bottles and glasses to support drink preparation and promotions.
• Demonstrate strong communication to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist with restocking and replenishment of bar inventory.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines for staff and customers.
• Work closely with the manager to facilitate daily bar operations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Thoroughly clean and polish glasses to ensure a pristine presentation for drinks.
• Maintain a clean and tidy bar area to uphold high hygiene standards.
• Assist with preparation tasks to streamline the efficiency of the bar service.
• Regularly check and replenish ice levels; ensure an ample supply of mixers for smooth operations.
• Efficiently take customer orders, providing attentive and friendly service.
• Complete closing procedures, including settling bills and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Set up the bar for service, ensuring all necessary items are in place. Similarly, close the bar efficiently at the end of the day.
• Organize bottles and glasses in a manner that supports efficient drink preparation and enhances beverage promotions.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and customers.
• Work closely with the manager to facilitate the efficient operation of the bar on a daily basis.
• Other ad-hoc duty as assigned.
