Job summary

DM Financial in Singapore seeks a junior accounting professional to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for investment funds. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness, present statements to senior staff, and coordinate with managers, auditors, and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Related diploma in accounting or related field

Responsibilities

• Prepare supporting schedules, working papers and financial statement disclosures
• Prepare financial statements for investment funds and vehicles in line with standards
• Ensure statements are accurate, complete and timely
• Present statements for review and incorporate feedback
• Support planning of financial reporting engagements and manage client deadlines
• Liaise with managers, auditors and external service providers
• Research accounting issues and complex transactions under GAAP/IFRS
• Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc projects

• Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and financial statement disclosures using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
• Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds and investment vehicles in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist in ensuring financial statements are prepared accurately, completely, and in accordance with internal quality standards and client deadlines
• Present completed financial statements to senior team members for review and incorporate feedback in a timely manner
• Support the planning of financial reporting engagements while managing multiple client deadlines
• Liaise with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors, and other external service providers to obtain information and resolve financial reporting queries
• Research accounting issues and complex transactions to determine the appropriate accounting treatment under relevant GAAP and IFRS standards
• Contribute to continuous process improvements and assist with ad hoc projects as required
