Job summary

STEEL ALLY RESOURCES PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accountant (Full Set Accountant) in Singapore to manage full-set accounting for multiple clients, including GL, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.

The role requires knowledge of Singapore GST and corporate income tax, proficiency with accounting software, and strong bilingual communication in English and Chinese. Working hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven ability to independently handle full-set accounting and prepare the three core financial statements.
• Knowledge of Singapore GST and corporate income tax filing procedures; familiarity with cross-border finance is a plus.
• Strong English proficiency with ability to read financial documents and communicate with clients.
• Fluency in Chinese is highly regarded for client communication.
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB preferred.
• Knowledge of local government portals (IRAS/ACRA) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Full-set accounting for multiple client companies, incl. GL, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, month-end/ year-end closing.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements; may prepare consolidated statements.
• Handle GST and corporate income tax filings; ensure compliance.
• Support audits; prepare documentation and coordinate with auditors.
• Interact with clients, banks, and institutions in English and Chinese.
• Navigate accounting software and government portals to ensure timely filings.

Job Opening | Accountant (Full Set Accountant)

Location: Singapore | 5-day work week |

I. Compensation & Benefits

• * Probationary Salary: SGD 2,600/month
• * Probation Period: 2 months
• * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

II. Job Responsibilities

• 1. Full-Set Accounting: Independently manage full-set accounting for multiple client companies, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
• 2. Financial Statement Preparation: Independently prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements; capable of preparing consolidated financial statements.
• 3. Tax Filing: Handle tax filings and compliance for Singapore GST, Corporate Income Tax, etc.
• 4. Audit Support: Prepare documentation for annual audits and coordinate with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
• 5. Financial Systems & Government Portals: Proficient in financial software; capable of navigating and utilizing Singapore government portals (such as IRAS and ACRA); proficient in understanding English-language financial/tax policies and filing requirements.
• 6. Client Communication: Communicate with clients, banks, and relevant institutions in both Chinese and English regarding financial and tax-related matters.

III. Requirements

• 1. Diploma or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2. Proven ability to independently handle full-set accounting and prepare the three core financial statements.
• 3. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and corporate income tax filing procedures; familiarity with accounting standards in China or other jurisdictions is an advantage. 4.
• 4. Strong English proficiency: Capable of independently reading English-language financial documents, banking materials, accounting software interfaces, and government websites, as well as handling routine professional communication in English.
• 5. Fluent in Chinese, with strong written communication and typing skills.
• 6. Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or other accounting software is preferred.
• 7. Prior experience in banking, international settlements, trade finance, letters of credit (L/C), or cross-border fund settlements is an advantage.
• 8. Strong capacity for self-directed learning. Candidates must demonstrate a proactive approach to learning local accounting standards, tax policies, and the operational procedures of government systems.
• 9. Meticulous and highly responsible, with the ability to solve problems independently and manage the accounts of multiple clients simultaneously.
