Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Jira Service Management (JSM) Engineer to implement and modernise an ITSM platform, including migration from an existing on-prem JSM Data Center environment.

You will redesign service workflows, automate operational processes and integrate JSM with Jira, Confluence, GitLab and other enterprise platforms, with a strong focus on configuration, automation and integrations.

Qualifications

Hands-on delivery of at least one JSM implementation.
Strong JSM configuration across workflows, request types, forms, automation rules and portals.
Practical ITSM knowledge: incident, service request, problem and change management.
Experience automating and integrating systems via REST APIs, webhooks and scripting.
Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence and DevOps toolchains.

Responsibilities

Assess existing JSM environment and design a modern ITSM target state.
Configure service projects, portals, request types, forms, workflows, queues, SLAs, permissions and notifications.
Implement and enhance incident, service request, problem, change and knowledge-management processes.
Develop automation for ticket routing, approvals, escalation, incident handling and service fulfilment.
Build and troubleshoot integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, scripting and connectors.
Integrate JSM with Jira, Confluence and GitLab via approved interfaces for traceability.
Plan and execute data migration activities including mapping, testing, cutover.
Support user acceptance testing, documentation, handover and post-go-live stabilisation.
