Job summary

The Edge Contracting Services- Singapore & Hong Kong is seeking a Java Software Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Java EE web applications and Spring. The role focuses on enterprise-level modernization projects and includes exposure to Mendix low-code platforms for rapid delivery.

You will contribute across the SDLC, collaborate with global teams, and grow technical expertise in Java, Spring, Mendix and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Java EE web applications experience.
• Experience with frameworks such as Struts, JSF, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, or iBatis.
• Agile development experience.
• Willingness to undergo Mendix training/certification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Involve primarily in Java and Mendix / Python enterprise-level projects.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, document and maintain IT systems and applications.
• Provide enhancement and maintenance support to clients (internal and/or external).
• Perform and manage stages of the SDLC and participate in system reviews with Project Lead/Manager.
• Design and document system design, architecture and propose appropriate technologies and tools.
• Deploy systems to production and provide post-implementation support.
