Job summary

STEENBOK PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Java Software Developer to design and implement robust back-end applications for the financial sector with a global footprint.

You will design and implement Java apps using Spring Boot, ensure clean, test-driven code, manage deployment in Google Cloud Platform, and automate build/test/deploy.

The role requires expertise in Java 8/11/17, microservices, RESTful services, PostgreSQL, and cloud deployments on GCP or AWS, with banking domain experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 8/11/17 and microservices.
• Strong experience with Java Spring Boot framework.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful web services and PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying cloud applications on GCP or AWS.
• Experience with testing at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and clean coding skills.
• Experience in banking/financial industry software development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java application with Spring boot
• Write clean, sleek, test-driven, modular, and highly reusable code and maintain configurations
• Manage deployment and product life cycle in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Automate the build, test, and deployment

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java 8, 11,17 and microservices
• Good experience in Java Spring Boot framework
• Good understanding of RESTful web services, PostgreSQL
• Experience in cloud application deployment - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
