Job summary

A leading financial technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to manage production incidents and ensure application uptime. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years in application development or support, with a strong background in relevant technologies including Java and AWS. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring compliance with policies while optimizing system efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years’ experience in an application development or support role.
• Prior experience or knowledge of Payments or Transaction banking systems is advantageous.
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)/ITIL implementation and/or concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage production incidents and ensure maximum uptime of applications.
• Support application deployment requests and maintain the application environment.
• Work closely with the Incident Manager for issue resolution.
• Prepare monthly reports covering system components for IT Operations.
