Job summary

NTT Data Singapore is seeking an experienced backend engineer to develop and maintain microservices-based backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement new features, and ensure performance, scalability and security.

The role requires strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium).
• Familiarity with security best practices in web development
